Charlotte is a current Lincolnshire County Councillor, representing the Colsterworth Rural division, and prior to moving to Lincolnshire, was also a Rutland County Councillor for 10 years. In her elected capacity, Charlotte was elected to the role of Chairman of Rutland County Council in 2013 and also held the role of Chair of the Planning Committee for a number of years in Rutland. In her current term at Lincolnshire County Council, Charlotte is Vice Chairman of the Planning and Regulation Committee.
Having been active in local politics since her teenage years, Charlotte is a previous Chairman of a Young Conservatives branch and was also an Officer in the Grantham and Stamford Conservative Association prior to the boundary change.
Professionally, Charlotte is the Director of a specialist recruitment agency that operates within the education sector from offices located in the constituency and lives in Castle Bytham with her husband and their energetic daughter who fills any spare time.
As Deputy Chairman Membership of the new association formed from parts of the old Rutland and Melton and Grantham and Stamford constituencies, Charlotte is very much looking forward to getting to know the existing members and welcoming new members into the Association.
