Oakham Town Councillor Christopher Clark was selected as the Conservative candidate for the Oakham North East ward council by-election being held on 21st November.
Local Conservative Party members selected Christopher at a competitive selection meeting. Oakham has been Christopher’s home for over 20 years and he has been involved in a number of community groups in that time.
Upon his selection Chris said ‘I am delighted to have been selected to represent the Conservative Party in the upcoming by-election. I am sickened by the way the Lib Dem’s have run the Council, in particular how they’ve ignored local opinion over closing Catmose Sports Centre.’
